Though yes, at times there was some predictability and elements which felt a tad unrealistic, getting to know the girls and their friendship dynamics, as well as trying to guess what the twist was made for an enjoyable read. However, those little secrets everyone has but doesn't want anybody else to know about are always lurking in the shadows, causing drama, scandal and a plot to develop which is always thrilling. Each of the five narrators have their own flaws and challenges to overcome in a world where everyone else around them seems pristine. It's a book that revels in the 'whodunnit' traditional mystery style, and since I hadn't read anything by Sara Shepard before - I was interested to see how the plot unfolded. In The Good Girls, a group of flawed friends are certainly no angels, though whether they are able to pull off a murder is the question. The characters of the book Ava, Caitlin, Julie. At first glance, the world of 'The Perfectionists' doesn't seem to stray too far from it's ever-popular predecessor in the Pretty Little Liars trilogy that has left people reeling over the mystery and intrigue which goes down.
